“2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. 3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. 4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.” Psalm 147:2-4 NKJV
Yesterday I left thing in a disjointed way – in hopes that you would think on it all and come to the conclusions of grace. We are the temple = The passages speak of God’s grace in the preparation and function of the temple and now we are the temple.
Dear Heavenly Father – As always, please open eye to see and our ears to hear what you are saying! Lord – open our understanding that we may know you. Please do not let us miss out on what you want and need from us today. And please keep us and bless us and shine your face upon us and pour out grace over us and give us peace! Thank you! – In Jesus name we pray, Amen
Today’s reading is from the book of Psalms chapters 134 and 146-150 (embedded below the image below for your convenience).
God’s grace. In the opening verse – I always felt (opinion) that this was prophetic – pointing to the time when Jesus walked the earth as man and called the 12, the outcasts, the brokenhearted, etc. But as all prophecies do – it goes on through time until the end and in there somewhere is the grace of my calling. And the grace of your calling! Yes – God called you.
You see it is by grace, He softened your heart – and by grace He revealed truth. It is grace that opened eyes and ears. It is by grace that we change and desire to sin no more – yet we are imprisoned in fleshly vessels and therefore are bent toward sin and our own destruction. YET, by grace – He redeems us, the outcasts, the brokenhearted, the ones who need deliverance, and the ones who need healing! Yes! He has not turn His face from us, but instead, He has called us just like Jesus called each of the 12 disciples. We are called to be His temple. We are called to be build up and set apart – to be holy. Then to be hated and torn down like His temple to be persecuted like the temple (and that isn’t the tribulation, just our calling. Then rebuilt. Then to have the river of life flow out of our threshold!!! Stop focusing on the multiplication of the depths of the water that flows in Ezekiel 47 – yes, God is a multiplier and yes, the blessings can be deep. But read it again, knowing WE ARE THE TEMPLE! And we are not swimming in the deep waters but instead they are gushing out of us bringing forth God’s living waters and restoration of life to the dead. Catch up here with me, please.
It is long past time to be “It’s time” yet so many are just now waking from slumber. It is glorious – but we must hurry and catch up. Moving quickly means deliverance will come while in the process not before. Moving quickly means we are all sinners under grace – the same way everything moved so quickly in the Book of Acts. Our pasts do not define us or dictate our ministries, gifts, callings, or the plan and purpose of our lives. Some things were stolen from us and it wasn’t Gods design. He permitted it so at some point we will all end up here:
Here we are having learned we are completely unable with out Him. Here we are broken sinners desperate for His way, not our way. Here we are asking Him to take it all – we give our lives to Christ. And we will not be shocked if He actually takes it.
I look back occasionally to see where this blog was a year ago, around this time. God had torn me down… because me as a temple had a faulty foundation and He needed to firm it up. Yes, the trial and tribulations they were God. He did it. And He rebuilt the foundation and the temple which I am and filled it with the spirit of The I Am!
I also see those prayer requests – and oddly they are not fulfilled. I have the promises of the Lord on each of them, yet they remain open before Him. I came to him for the answers – he tore me down, I pressed in deeper and He permitted persecution and loss of income, I said I will hold on and NOT let go until you bless me and He allowed everything to be taken or fall away and all I had was in His hands. Many would have walked away by now. Many think you come to God he makes everything easy. Here. I am living the raw truth about who our loving father is. This is what it is like.
Yet every day I am happier. Yet I am engulfed in peace. His rod and staff comfort me. His love overwhelms me. His blessings are exceedingly abundantly more than I could imagine. I never thought a year ago that this is where I would be today. Yet here I am in grace. I sin, I repent – yes – I am human and we are never completely freed from the laws of sin and death while living on earth. But each time I overcome, I become more Christ-like. I have moved out of the waters and I have become the well of water itself. The promises I came to God for linger because they drink of this water and are drawn to Christ in me. And when another is obedient and grabs ahold of the sickle to harvest – my prayers will be answered.
That is not for me, though – I must be the temple with the living waters flowing to save those which our Lord wishes will not perish!! (yes, he wishes none should perish – there is lots of work to do.) Release me lord on a larger scale – draw more to you! Here I am, send me.
We are the temple – we are not in the waters that flow out. The time for that has passed. Get out of the deep end and like the verse says:
“He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river.” Ezekiel 47:6 NKJV
It is time to return to the beginning, we have seen the multiplication of the Lord – go back, recommit have the ceremonies like the first dedication of the temple. Because this time – is the last time – it is time – make it count. Because it is time to be the temple which that living and healing and life giving water flowing out of you. Healing is not a miracle gift given to some – it must pour out of the temple and be multiplied! Be the temple.
Do you already have a relationship with a powerful God who cares about your every need because He loves you? Did you know my God can communicate with you and protect you – He has a plan for you to prosper if you just submit to His will and let His plan play out in your life!!! God wants a relationship with you and has already made a plan for your life. “9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 NIV
Here is a prayer for you to pray:

That you died on the cross as a sacrifice for my sins, and rose again so that I may be saved from my sins and be able to get to know you. I declare: Jesus, you are Lord!
Therefore, I confess that I am a sinner and I ask that you forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Help me to turn away from my sins and transform me into what you have lovingly created me to be. Help me through a real personal relationship grow and accept your will for my life – that I may live in your blessings. Please walk with me, and talk with me – I accept a relationship with you and with our Father God, through you. In the name of Jesus I pray ~ Amen

BIBLE READING: Psalm 134 & 146-150 NKJV
Praising the Lord in His House at Night
A Song of Ascents.
134 Behold, bless the Lord,
All you servants of the Lord,
Who by night stand in the house of the Lord!
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary,
And bless the Lord.
3 The Lord who made heaven and earth
Bless you from Zion!
The Happiness of Those Whose Help Is the Lord
146 Praise[a] the Lord!
Praise the Lord, O my soul!
2 While I live I will praise the Lord;
I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help,
Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 Who made heaven and earth,
The sea, and all that is in them;
Who keeps truth forever,
7 Who executes justice for the oppressed,
Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.
8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord raises those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous.
9 The Lord watches over the strangers;
He relieves the fatherless and widow;
But the way of the wicked He [d]turns upside down.
10 The Lord shall reign forever—
Your God, O Zion, to all generations.
Praise the Lord!
Praise to God for His Word and Providence
147 Praise[e] the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their [f]wounds.
4 He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.
6 The Lord lifts up the humble;
He casts the wicked down to the ground.
7 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving;
Sing praises on the harp to our God,
8 Who covers the heavens with clouds,
Who prepares rain for the earth,
Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.
9 He gives to the beast its food,
And to the young ravens that cry.
10 He does not delight in the strength of the horse;
He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him,
In those who hope in His mercy.
12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem!
Praise your God, O Zion!
13 For He has strengthened the bars of your gates;
He has blessed your children within you.
14 He makes peace in your borders,
And fills you with [g]the finest wheat.
15 He sends out His command to the earth;
His word runs very swiftly.
16 He gives snow like wool;
He scatters the frost like ashes;
17 He casts out His hail like [h]morsels;
Who can stand before His cold?
18 He sends out His word and melts them;
He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19 He declares His word to Jacob,
His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
20 He has not dealt thus with any nation;
And as for His judgments, they have not known them.
[i]Praise the Lord!
Praise to the Lord from Creation
148 Praise[j] the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
2 Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
3 Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
And you waters above the heavens!
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and they were created.
6 He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth,
You great sea creatures and all the depths;
8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
9 Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For His name alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 And He has exalted the [k]horn of His people,
The praise of all His saints—
Of the children of Israel,
A people near to Him.
[l]Praise the Lord!
Praise to God for His Salvation and Judgment
149 Praise[m] the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song,
And His praise in the assembly of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3 Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the [n]humble with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory;
Let them sing aloud on their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishments on the peoples;
8 To bind their kings with chains,
And their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute on them the written judgment—
This honor have all His saints.
[o]Praise the Lord!
Let All Things Praise the Lord
150 Praise[p] the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty [q]firmament!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
3 Praise Him with the sound of the [r]trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
