Muddy Water

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1 ESV

Please stop sharing muddy water for the thirsty to drink.
They are thirsty for the clean living waters of Christ and the ‘good intention’ sharing of muddy water literally clouds people’s understanding of God and strips power from the word of God. The unadulterated word of the Lord never returns void and will accomplish what it sets out to accomplish (Isaiah 55:11). But if it does not go out alive and clean – it cannot work it’s work.

The hard truth is – regardless of if you have good intentions and you share a nice meme with something that sounds encouraging and kinda biblical truth, then you are a false prophet! Wait?! What?! It is the same when sharing anything in relation to any current event (as the air ways are so muddied by false statistics and mixed messages).
Imagine – you get to heaven – and it’s time to account for everything – and God asks you to account for all the false prophecies you put out into the world.  You stand there feeling all confused and defensive. You say, “but Lord, I did all these things over here in your name, what can you be talking about?” And he opens your social media account and says – “These.”

Some of these memes have flowers and a feel good message – especially if one take them a certain way.  ‘They are just putting positive messages out there’ is what we try to convince ourselves of.  We say: ‘It’s not like sharing something that is blatantly wrong or evil’. We are trying to help – people need this information (which I did not take the time to look up).

False profits are NOT blatant. Not obvious. The water isn’t crystal clear – there are contaminants that an undiscerning eye might miss. These contaminants can be deadly, can wound, and damage. They can lead people to death and destruction instead of to God’s grace and salvation. Even if your intentions were innocent.

“Oh, you are over reacting!”

I am not the one who wrote that scripture. Maybe, John was a bit dramatic? I don’t know. Honestly, I think Paul’s writing is a bit more dramatic than John’s is, as a total body of work. And look how dramatic Hebrews is with it’s hell, fire and brimstone messages. Although, John did write Revelations – and the visions written there are pretty dramatic.

Regardless of drama – chapter 4 of 1st John is a big lesson on “beware of false prophets” and if we didn’t need to beware then it probably would not be in the Bible.

There are so many of these floating around that my friends and I play a game we now call “Is this a false prophet?” We play almost daily. Its actually reached epidemic scale! Someone has to teach on this – so here I am!

Just for fun – let’s dissect this one to see what the fuss is about. Yes, I avoided using a political one:

In case you cannot read it – it says: “When Joy is a habit, love is a reflex”
Awww. This has the words “joy” “habit” “love” – seriously God is love – what is there NOT to like about this?!?! And before we go any further – is this innocent enough that maybe you might share this?

(let me clear my throat, then say in a game show host voice): “Let’s play – Is This a False Prophet?”

Does your spirit feel a check? Or uneasy? That is my first indicator that something is wrong. You can pray and ask God to give you an uneasy feeling when its a false prophet. You can pray for discernment.

Because they are twisted, usually these muddy meme’s have to be explore in a different order than the order in which they are written. So let’s start with “love is a reflex”.

Staying right here in 1st John we get to see exactly what love is a reflex means:
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.” 1 John 4:7-12

Love is a reflex of knowing God! Wow! That is powerful! That is truth. All false prophecies have some truth as that is how they win you over. There is water – the question now is: is the water muddied?

When knowing God – Love is a reflex = Truth
When joy is a habit – Love is a reflex = ?

Is “when joy is a habit” equivalent to knowing God? Go ahead and form an argument for this – I can create an earthly argument that knowing God is joy and it love so this meme is ok…. BUT! AND THIS IS AN ALL CAPS BUT!

BUT the question is now – what does the Bible say about joy and what does the word habit mean.

“habit” (noun)
1. a settled or regular tendency or practice
2. an automatic reaction to a specific situation

So it is a reaction – a reflex so to speak.  So “when Joy is a reflex, Love is a reflex”?  I thought we all already agreed that love is a reflex of knowing God, not a reflex of a reflex.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” Galatians 5:22 ESV

Both ‘love’ and ‘joy’ are on a level playing field here – they are both reflexes and results of knowing God. In 1st John, he continues with explaining that the only way to have real love is threw God – and in the fruits of the spirit passage it goes on to say these fruits only come to those who know God.

The result of experiencing God:
“Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9 ESV

OK – Back to this meme.

When joy, a reaction to knowing God, then love, a reaction of knowing God? Something isn’t quite right here.

Now, we see what has been removed.  The very thing, the empowering, life changing thing that causes Joy and Love has been removed. Along with removing God – the grace, mercy, forgiveness and redemption has been removed.

Let’s then think of this from the eyes of someone who does NOT know God.  If they do not know God, they have not yet known the resulting love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.  They only have a partial experience of which the world offers – a corrupted experience based on their own ability and trying and corrupted by sin.  They can try all they want, but will fail. Because you must know God to obtain joy and love. It is nothing we can do on our own – it is something that God creates in us.

This self-failure leads to self-condemnation and we all know how destructive that can be.

There is therefore now no condemnation in Christ Jesus! Don’t remove the grace and salvation! Don’t remove the very thing needed to create joy and love!

This is how a simple meme that is muddy water – turns you into a false prophet causing your friends to feel condemned, worthless, and defeated.  But you thought you were being positive and building people up. You bought the devil’s lie and spread it.

Let’s clean it up – “When you know God, love and Joy are a reflex”

Obviously, each things shared should be evaluated on it’s own – and the exact reason it passes or fails is based the the scriptures which are applicable to it.

Please be prayerful about sharing on social media. You and I will answer to God on our choices. Our shares represent God as well – you may be the only Jesus someone ever sees.

What Time is It?

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

 Matthew 24:3-14 NKJV

I saw a meme on the internet that asked “What verse in Revelations are we doing today?” Oh my friends, we haven’t made it to Revelations yet!! We are still in the first book of the New Testament. Time for us to learn to tell time!

This is not a post on the end time prophesies – I couldn’t do it justice in just one post.  But just so we are clear, Jesus said he will return in the clouds for a rapture (taking his church with him off the Earth). This is NOT the second coming – when in the book of Revelations the final war of Armageddon happens. In the Rapture the Church will rise up to meet Him in the sky – so that really isn’t a second coming.

This passage above is what Jesus said to look for to know the end will come soon.  They thought it was the end times when Jesus died and was resurrected. They thought it was the end times throughout the rest of the New Testament. They said it was the end time when the black plague swept through Europe. They thought it was the end when Americas were discovered. They thought it was the end when World War 1 happened and more so with World War 2!  Will our ancestors look back on 2020 and say – they even thought that was the end.

How long will God tarry?  How far must we stretch His grace and mercy?

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Luke 21: 25-28 NKJV

No one knows when the rapture will happen. Some say it will happen before the tribulation period. Some say midway through the tribulation. I honestly don’t know and will not speculate.  But all of the thing above have happened or are happening.  So if Jesus comes before or during it makes no difference to me – I am looking up!

If he came right now – are you ready?  Will you be taken up into the sky??

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Luke 21:34-37 NKJV

It is so easy, with our heavy hearts to get distracted. Going back to yesterday’s post – obedience to the will of God. If we are obedient, we most assuredly are going up. Jesus gives us a few more directions to obey – don’t let “your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life”.  And “Watch and pray”.

The principality of Fear and hording (greed) came over the earth with the Coronavirus.  Then came the spirit of War in the form of chaos, hatred, and selfishness (greed) – yes, like fear this is also here to stay.  No worries, just like before with the fear we can pray through it. We can press it back, but only so much because “these things will come to pass”.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:4-11 NKJV

Did you notice this passage ends with telling us to be encouraged? This should encourage you. If you are feeling any fear about it – then pray for the Lord to reveal why it makes you fearful.  Is it because of unrepentance? Is it disobedience? Is it the spirit of fear?

The end is our promise – our goal. This should encourage you! We may be here on this Earth for such a time as this – to pull in the final harvest and participate in the rapture! Glory!

So, let me circle back to the last verse in the first passage of this post:

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Matthew 24:14 NKJV

This is stated as a fact – but it is our job right now. Every one of us should be preaching. Tell someone about your relationship with Jesus. Show them how Jesus is helping you get through this and can help them to.

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14 NKJV

What Shall We Do?

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Let us continue where we left off – I prayed for God to move and he showed me clearly that he has made a way and he is doing a new thing.  God moves through us. As we see in the verse above – he created us to do His will and His work.  As I stated in that last post – God is saying back at us – move! God prepared it beforehand, so we should walk in them.

What then shall we do? Join the protests? Avoid them because of the riots?  As so many of my friends are asking – what do we do now?  And what do we do about Covid-19? What is next?! Let’s see what the Bible says we should do.

”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22 NKJV

Well, that is a pretty busy schedule if I am to do those verses effectively.  But this is His will and His command. Are we not already doing it?

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who doesthe will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV

Ooof that is hard. But the Bible says we can busy ourselves with doing what WE think is the work of the Lord, deceiving ourselves.  Take note of the key here: “he who does the will of My Father in heaven”.   We read above what His will is. It is time to ask Him what the specifics are for your life.

Be very clear – you and I aren’t saved by our works. But true faith in our Almighty Father and Christ Jesus produces works – or better said, it causes us to do the will of the Father.

“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe – and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:14-26 NKJV

Read it again slowly if you must – there is a lot there and I am not going to dig through it line by line. But if we apply my blog post called “Grace and Obedience to Faith” (February 25, 2020) and “Work Produced by Faith” part 1 and 2 on the following days, we then see that it is not really the “work” that any of this is referring to but rather the obedience to the will of our Father.  So many times in our lives we need to be obedient in order to have faith – the two acts become one and cannot be separated.

Are we currently obeying the will of the Father?  Are we an example of who He is and harvesting souls?  Are we making the best use of our time?

“redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit” Ephesians 5:16-18 NKJV

God himself, even knowing our most private thoughts, is going to hold us accountable for our actions and thoughts (and our obedience).

“For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14 NKJV

Praise the Lord that there is such grace and mercy as repentance! Glory!!!

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.” Revelations 22:12 NKJV

Our time is short – today is the day of salvation! I pray that today we move where the Lord wants us to move – we take the opportunity to obey. He has made a way and is doing a new thing. Either get on board or get out of the way!

Move – A New Thing

16 This is what the Lord says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
17 who drew out the chariots and horses,
    the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:
18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
    the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21     the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.

Isaiah 43:16-21 NIV

I am emotionally exhausted. What a crazy world we are living in!
I struggled early on today with just existing and working and doing normal things.  It seems I have been on the phone with friends more now, then when the covid social distancing first started. We have been angry and yelling together, crying together, and praying together! I still feel helpless – but I can see and hear and stand together in love.

As I was making dinner – I broke down and just prayed in the spirit – which turned into moaning and humming. Oh Lord – oh Lord – move! Yep, when I finally spoke I told God to move! I told these mountainous obstacles to move. I told division to move. I told covid to move! I told that spirit of fear that came in with covid to move! I told that spirit of riots and chaos that came after George Floyd’s murder, to move! I told racism to move! I told…

I did a lot of talking, or yelling and moaning. I excitedly typed “move” into my concordance – I am going to study this! I am running around like a boss and telling everything under the sun to move so let me find my verse – my promise!  Of course there is the mustard seed faith that moves mountains (Matthew 17:20) – what else we got?! I want something with God moving!

And somehow I ended up in Isaiah 43. Lets read verses 16 and 17 again: “16 This is what the Lord says – he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, 17 who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick”
Oh yes! God moving! My mind is now racing with all the glorious times when God moved. Remember the exodus from Egypt?  Remember the burning bush?  Oh remember fire from heaven that consumed the burnt offering?! OOoo let’s see Almighty move!!!!

Then verse 18 stopped me in my tracks!
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.”
Oof! I got ahead of myself and behind all at the same time. Take a pause. Ok Lord, please speak to me. I’ll shut up now.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (verse 19)
Honestly, I feel it. Something is happening. I know the Lord is moving behind the scenes. I know the Lord is still in control.  But I do not know what it is – oh because it is new!

“I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Oh wait a minute God, I live in a city and it sounds like you are moving me into a wilderness and wasteland. Oh. “move”. You mean me. I ran around moving everything and it’s my turn to move.

But I am not to sure about the wilderness – I mean wild animals and all that. And what will I drink?

20 The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, 21 the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.”

I guess the Israelites spent a lot of time in the wilderness. Elijah spent a lot of time in the wilderness. John the Baptist spent a lot of time in the wilderness. I guess I could to.

Wait a minute – “I am doing a new thing”! Those examples were done before. And suddenly we all realize how this applies to right now.
All around our urban landscapes and reaching deep into every pocket of this nation we are in some stage of the ‘lock-down’ and covid-19 threat – and there are racial tensions. Then there are all the other crazy things happening around the world.  It’s wild. Literally. It is becoming the wilderness and wasteland.

“I am making a way”

The wildness honors Him – those who know he provides.
And he provides “drink” – living waters to His people!
And a final little note – we are created to proclaim His praise.

  1. This is going to be new and different.
  2. Keep your peace because God went ahead of us to make a way.
  3. All of this will work out in such a way, we will proclaim His praise and He will be gloried!

Maybe we were created for such a time as this? (Ester 4:14)

Today, a friend of mine asked me a few questions, ones that stopped everyone else who she asked. They are almost unanswerable.  She asked: where do we go from here? What is the next step? How do we fix it?

I said we go to the prayer closet; our next step is out to save souls; and we don’t fix it – God does. God is still in control – and God is good. He isn’t any less good today than He was before the death of Mr. Floyd and the riots. He is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

It may be turning into a wilderness or wasteland – but he has a plan and he is still in control.

Its probably good to take note, as well, that we are fighting principalities and powers – That there is an agenda behind all of this. We should pray it is exposed. We should be wise and not get swept up in the evil plan.  It is good to have righteous indignation and cautious that we do not slip into hate, evil or crimes.

The game has changed, yes. But God is doing a new thing!

Black lives matter.

You are Heard

“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:20-21 KJV

I hear you.  You are heard.

It is time to speak of the injustices in the United States of America – because media is showing we are NOT united.  And that must stop.

A man was murdered – with cameras rolling – by a man who represents the very entity created for protection of civilians. This is NOT acceptable.

It is compounded by the color of skin. Why is melanin and pigment still a reason for different treatment, for judgment, and for injustice?  Regardless of color or nationality (or even belief) – we are all created by the same God, who loves us.

I hear your cries.  More importantly, “the Lord hears.”

“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17 ESV

Do not doubt that we serve a MIGHTY and POWERFUL God. He is looking down on all of this and is just as broken hearted as those of us here in the middle of it.

But please, please stop to riots and looting! You are making fools of yourselves and all people! Riots and looting is not more wrong than murder, however two wrongs never make things right.  We must find another way.

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:12 ESV

And honestly, we are battling principalities and powers – not flesh and blood – so, we are going to need our almighty God to help us now!

“as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 ESV

God is working. You and I may not be able to see it with our fleshly eyes, but HE IS WORKING! Do not get in the way by doing evil.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21 NIV

Yes – it is a battle worth fighting – choose carefully how you fight. Covid-19 and shutting us down was a nice practice run for creating marshal law. But since we are opening back up – these riots could be used to let the government take more away – using us to justify oppressing us!  Our point should be freedom and acceptance – not to bring down greater oppression. Think, think.

Almighty Heavenly Father, we pray in agreement for Minneapolis and the United States of America – for the violence to cease, peace to prevail, restoration for businesses, protection for residents, for order to be restored and for all evil to be revealed. We also pray for wisdom and protection for all of our police officers and cities, that the evil behind these ongoing riots and attacks be confused and defeated, for order to be restored and innocent residents to be protected; lastly for all powers of darkness and demonic influence to be defeated. In the powerful name of Jesus ~ Amen!

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19 NIV

So, while we battle this on our knees is there anything else we can do? Yes – Go and spread the good news of Christ to ALL people every color!!!  Times are getting hard and people need Jesus! The need is so great! If you don’t think they need Jesus, just watch the news – Oh Lord, they NEED you!

While praying with a friend about people who NEED Jesus, she saw a sword shining and coming through the sky. While praying with another friend, she also saw a sword coming in the sky. And as I was looking up verses about Jesus wanting to save ALL people, I came across another sword verse:

All flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.”  Ezekiel 21:5 ASV

Other versions say it will not return anymore to its sheath.
Many of Ezekiel’s prophesies were for the end times. Jesus said, while he was on earth, that we are in the end times – even more so today. These prophesies are for today.  The Lord drew out His sword and sent it to the earth. He already did. It is here and it will not be returned to the sheath. Let me show you…

”For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 NIV

God’s Word is the sword. It will save and it will destroy according to His righteous judgment. We better pick a side – are we saved? Or shall we encounter the judgment of the sword? If we are saved, are we fighting evil with good?? Let God have his vengeance as He has spoken.

“Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:17 NIV

God’s Word. Let me hear us raise a battle cry starting with “IT IS WRITTEN!!!” Draw the sword!

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 NIV

Hallelujah! Jesus Is the word – the word is the sword – therefore Jesus is the sword! Come Lord Jesus, Come! He is here in us in Spirit and in truth and he is coming again in the flesh!  He shall NOT be returned to the sheath – because we have a relationship with Him and He is with us! He will not leave us nor forsake us!

“And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.” Ezekiel 20:48 KJV

We cannot stop the prophecies from being fulfilled. We can fight in prayer and in unity. We can fight by harvesting souls for Christ who can fight with us in prayer and in unity. As a church body; revived, refreshed, awakened, and on fire for Christ!  Not by setting stores and building on fire – but setting people’s hearts and spirits on fire with the power of the Holy Spirit!

For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” 1 Timothy 4:10 NIV

I hear you. God hears you. Let ALL men hear you! Labor and strive with your eyes FIXED on Christ – Raise Him up! He is our SAVIOR if we only believe!

“And He [that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world.” 1 John 2:2 AMP

Lord, forgive the racists and transform them. Forgive us, if our righteous indignation has spilled into evil. Help us Lord – HELP! Heal us and save us and our land. Bring unity. Amen!

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16 ESV

Our prayer has great power! Pray. Pray. Pray!
I keep telling you this is urgent – we must pray – urgently. Do you believe me now?! Pray!
Let’s read it again in the amplified version:
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” James 5:16 AMP

Finally – let’s march – not with feet on the streets or with fire, violence, or looting. Let’s fight in spirit and in truth.
Red, and yellow, black and white – we are precious in his sight – Jesus loves the little children of the world!
Standing, kneeling, bowing, or laying in prayer – united in Christ! Without color or nationality – Just children of God – precious princes and princesses.

If God is for us, then who can be against us? (paraphrased Romans 8:31)

Black lives matter. The Almighty God hears you.
